Community currencies activist

So you seek to create social change through local/complementary/community/crypto-currencies, and/or other translocal social activist projects?

Here are two quick insights I can share with you from this research project:

1. Don’t forget to plan for conflict transformation in your group/network; to make sure everyone is as well informed as possible; and to help your community develop democratically, with a focus on relationship-building and clear agreements on responsibilities and accountability. Software engineering is important, but cannot replace human connection ;)
2. Be aware of global capitalist logics that could mess up your beautiful project(s) - it's hard to stay immune.
